A original collage "Mother Nature on My Mind"

Medium: magazine clippings on black mat board
This piece was created to combine two of my recent areas of interest in my art- figures and bright, beautiful flowers/floral accents. I started with the woman, pulled from a 1940's vintage magazine, and added layers of colorful flowers to create a beautiful sort of hat for her.
The flowers have so many pretty tones..but mainly there are golden yellows, hot pink/magenta, dusty rose, light baby/pastel pink, a pretty violet, and a few hints of green from the leaves.
There are some surface wrinkles on the piece-- this is normal as this is the original collage, it is from the applications of layers of glue betweens lots of layers of paper.
All artwork is signed either on the front or back- whichever you prefer.
All of my artwork is hand created by me, in my home studio. collages will be shipped flat, with care to make sure they arrive in pristine condition.
